Professor (full position) IUT d’Orsay

Job position
Develop university’s educative works including those related to the entrance, examinations, and teaching
animation:
Teaching is one of the missions of the University. The quality of teaching and the quality of student learning are
more than ever at the heart of Paris-Saclay University.
As such, the teaching profile includes an ability to:
– question his teaching practices,
– experiment with innovative teaching methods,
– design teaching sequences,
according to learning objectives and explicit skills,
– share his methods/experiences and thus contribute to enriching the reflection on pedagogy within networks and exchange structures.
Human-Centered Interaction
The HCI department of the LISN laboratory includes six internationally recognized groups of researchers: AVIZ,
AMI, CPU, EX-SITU, ILDA, and VENISE. They investigate human-machine interaction with a multidisciplinary
approach that includes computer science, signal processing, and humanities, to both design innovative interactive
hardware and software technology, as well as explore human-computer collaboration and social interaction.
These groups also study visual, tangible, haptic, audio-, and gesture-based interaction; multimodal and multisurface
interaction; interactive information visualization and data analysis; virtual and augmented reality; image,
video and movement analysis; social and affective interaction.

Professor (full position) UFR of Science
One open position for teaching at the UFR of Science and whose research profile is: Learning and Optimization or Interaction with Humans.
Job position
The recruited person will be susceptible to teach in all fields of the Computer Sciences Department of the
Orsay Faculty of Sciences, at the Bachelor’s and Master’s levels (classical and apprenticeship). She/he will be
able to teach in her/his areas of interest and in one or more areas whose teaching potential needs to be
strengthened. Areas to be strengthened include systems, networks, and architecture, as well as programming.
She/he may be required to teach some of her teachings in English, notably in the framework of an international
master’s degree from the Master Mention Informatique site d’Orsay(HCI, AI, or DS course).
Research activities
The LISN laboratory is a multidisciplinary research laboratory in Orsay, France. It is composed of five
departments and 17 teams. The candidate will conduct his/her research either in the A&O team, specialized
in Machine Learning, or in any of the 6 teams of the Human-Centered Interaction department.
