SALENTO AVR 2021: Where the digital world is blended with the real world
The dates for the SALENTO AVR 2021 Conference have been confirmed, the 8th International Conference on Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, and Computer Graphics, from 7-10 September 2021.
The conference intends to bring together the community of researchers, scientists, and innovators in order to discuss key issues, approaches, ideas, open problems, innovative applications, and trends in virtual and augmented reality, 3D visualization, and computer graphics in the areas of medicine, cultural heritage, arts, education, entertainment, military, and industrial applications.
Meeting the Network:
AVR Lab is a research laboratory focused on Virtual and Augmented Reality technologies in medicine and surgery, cultural heritage, and education. AVR Lab is also engaged in the design and development of advanced human-machine interfaces. Furthermore, it is involved in the research activities of DREAM, a multidisciplinary research laboratory located in the Hospital of Lecce.
Call for submissions
SALENTO AVR 2021 solicits original contributions and the submission of full or short papers for oral or poster presentation. The conference solicits original contributions and is structured around the following tracks:
- Virtual Reality
- Augmented Reality
- Computer Graphics and Animation
- Games and Serious Games
External reviewers and program committee taking into account originality, significance, technical soundness, and clarity of exposition will carefully evaluate the contributions. Accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings and published in Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) edited by Springer (to be confirmed).
